Adhikaar works according to the mission of ‘Every Child in School and Learning Well’. The organization’s broad goal is to eliminate illiteracy from India and to break the cycle of poverty. To make this possible, many other goals must first be achieved. These include improvement in learning outcomes, the retention of children in schools, good teacher training, the development of innovative educational methodologies, mobilization and training of volunteers, and others. 

CAMaL (Combined Activities for Maximized Learning) is a teaching methodology developed by Adhikaar, that combines reading, writing, and speaking activities so that these essential skills develop simultaneously. It also involves a practical and innovative teaching-learning process that helps children better understand and retain what they learn. 

Contributions from individuals formed a major source of funding for us in our initial period and as we grew in strength, corporate & charitable institutions showed their belief in us by funding our organization.

Each centre of Adhikaar has a separate annual budget which is approved by its Board and adhered to very religiously. The funds collected form a common pool and are allocated to different centers as per their budget. Detailed budgeting helps us in accounting for every rupee spent and also to use our limited resources most effectively.

It’s up to you completely! There is no minimum amount. You can also pay any amount monthly or quarterly or at any other period as per your convenience. This is still work in progress as we are a new organization. We are under the process of 80G certification.

Adhikaar is a national level development organization with its motive to spread across India.

Usually in-kind donation is accepted only when there is a need in any of the projects at a given point of time.
